Certified Professional Medical Coder 短期培训
这个密集的, short-term Certified Professional Medical Coder program will help you prepare to enter one of the fastest growing fields in healthcare. You'll gain the knowledge and experience to work as a medical coder in a healthcare setting. In this medical coding course you will learn:
- Medical coding related to the three main code books: CPT, ICD-10-CM Code Set, and HCPCS Level II
- Medical terminology and anatomy
After completion of the 在线 modules and coding instruction you will participate in a practicum. The practicum gives you experience coding 600 actual medical records and is the equivalent to one year of professional coding experience. Successful completion of the practicum allows you to enter the workforce as a certified professional coder without having to complete an apprenticeship.
Upon course completion you are qualified to take a national certification 考试 to become a certified professional coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders.
This program is certified by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
