Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Certificate

The Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Certificate program is a competency-based program tailored to your needs. You progress through the program as you master the content. This program will teach you how to operate trucks that require a Class B CDL license, which include vehicles such as concrete mixer trucks, 扫雪机, 运货车, 移动的车, 垃圾车, 牵引卡车, 公共汽车, and emergency vehicles. You will develop skills in backing, 把, and safe driving on both rural and suburban roads and become proficient in vehicle inspections. Your training will include individual and classroom instruction and hands-on driving using simulators and full-size dump trucks.

开始前, you must pass and pay for a Department of 运输 (DOT) physical and pre-employment drug screening. You must also obtain your Class B CDL permit with air brakes test from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). 车管所提供 实践测试 you may access online to prepare for your permit.

• This program is not eligible for federal student aid, but financial assistance may be available to individuals that qualify.
